OUR MISSION:  To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans.

OUR VISION: Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

OUR PURPOSE: Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a national association of men and women who as soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen served this Nation in wars, campaigns, and expeditions on foreign soil or in hostile waters. The VFW is a federally chartered corporation and a fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational institution dedicated to serving veterans by

•  fostering camaraderie among veterans of overseas conflicts;

•  serving and assisting our veterans, the military and our communities;

•  advocating on behalf of all veterans;

•  perpetuating the memory and history of our dead and to assist their widows and orphans;

•  maintaining true allegiance to the government of the United States and fidelity to its constitution and laws;

•  fostering  true patriotism;

•  maintaining and extending the institutions of American freedom;

•  preserving and defending the United States from all enemies.

Americanism is an unfailing love of country; loyalty to its institutions and ideals; eagerness to defend it against all enemies; undivided allegiance to the flag; and a desire to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and posterity.
